We are a leading Hong Kong independent financial market analysis website that provides commentary and analysis on the stock market, international bond markets, and financial issues of the day. We are in need of a part-time Financial Market Blogger and Commentator for approximately 5 to 10 hours per week. . If the stock market, finance, and economics are of little interest to you, please do not inquire. This job requires a person with a strong interest in the stock market and the economy. Work can be done part time from your home.
Research and commentary will be needed on stocks, economic trends, mergers, IPOs, secondary offerings, industry specific issues and more. You need to have an understanding of the Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong financial markets and corporate earnings estimates, corporate balance sheets, understanding of book value of companies, knowledge of cause and effect on economics and more. If you get up early each day to read the latest Chinese stock market news you are the type of person we are looking for. Job Duties • Read the top stories from the 3 major Chinese official stock market papers online each day. • Write two original blogs in simplified Chinese characters each per week of 400 to 800 words on an agreed deadline. The format for the blog commentary will be informational and unbiased commentary. Job Requirements • A strong interest in the Chinese Stock market. • The ability to meet write entertaining and thought provoking blogs within fixed deadlines is a must. • An understanding of the Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong financial markets and corporate earnings estimates, corporate balance sheets, understanding of book value of companies, knowledge of cause and effect on economics and more. • Native Chinese speaker based in Mainland China or Hong Kong • Have a strong command of business Chinese for online publication. • The ability to work without constant hands-on supervision. • Having your own PC with a broadband connection. Professional financial analysts or those who have written about business/economics are preferred. Professional financial journalists with an official Chinese journalist license could also be a great match for this position. Duties:
To design course materials and teach: (1) Finance: Introduction to Finance / Financial Market and Institutions / Financial Management / Investments.
