We would like to swap our spacious 2 bedroom New York City apartment (>120 sqm) for a 4 bedroom apartment or lane house in central Shanghai for minimum 1 year starting after Nov.1 2010.
Our apartment is located on the upper west side of Manhattan, one block from the 110th street #1 subway line, one block from the park and 5 minutes walk from Columbia University. We have lived in Shanghai for 4+ years and have been subletting our NYC apartment. We are currently looking for a new place and realized that instead of renting we could swap our NYC place for a Shanghai place. So we are looking for a Shanghai family who might be interested in swapping their Shanghai residence with our NYC apartment for at least a year. If interested please email me ASAP because we will need to find a new place by mid October. We can discuss more details once we know who is interested. My apartment is available for swap starting from 10/11, for about 2 weeks. It's a very comfortable apartment, conveniently located in Columbus Circle area, on 55th and 8th Ave. 5 minutes from subway A/B/C/D/E/N/R/W/Q/1. Also it's only a few minutes away from Central Park, Times Square, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center! Tons of restaurants, cafes and book stores.
